The side panel features a wood grain design, and the shoe is full of small crowns that have been imprinted into the shoe’s upper.

Mighty Crown, one of the more influential ragge troupe to come out of Japan is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the group, along with Nike, produced this special edition Dunk Hi’s. With Mighty Crown logos imprinted on the uppers, and a faux Mahogany panel on the mid-section, the sneaker also comes with a gold satin shoe bag.

For those who are unfamiliar with Mighty Crown, the dance hall ragge troupe formed in 1991 by a group of friends in Yokohama. Soon, they were making frequent appearances in New York City clubs. The group gained further recognition in 1999 when it won the World Clash Ragge Championship, beating out contenders from Jamaica and USA, and the very first Japanese performers to do so.
